(1) Velboa: There are many styles, and it's clear from the color chart of Fuguang Company that it's very popular for making bean bags. Most TY beauties popular in the US and Europe are made of this material, and our wrinkled bears also belong to this category.
Quality characteristics: The surface of the hair is soft, and the quality of the hair when folded down is generally poor. However, the printed shearing fabric may have a slight tilt, which is acceptable.
(2) Plush cloth:
A. A yarn (also known as ordinary yarn or BOA material) is divided into:
Luminous yarn: Generally, it has luster and can be divided into yin and yang sides with different hair directions under light. Matte yarn: refers to a matte color with almost no yin-yang surface.
B. V-yarn (also known as special yarn, T-590, Vonnel) comes in both Even Cut and Uneven Cut styles, with a hair length ranging from 4-20mm, making it a mid-range material.
C. Hipile (Haipai, Long Fleece): Hair length within the range of 20-120mm can be made in any length within the range of 20-45mm, and above 45mm, it is only 65mm and 120 (110) mm. It belongs to long and short hair, with straight and smooth hair that is not easily curled.
D, other:
1. Curled plush (rolled pile):
① Tumbling boa, A yarn curly hair: mostly granular hair, lamb hair, or hair roots in bundles, rolled up on top. Usually used to make more classical toys, with a maximum hair length of 15mm; The price is much cheaper compared to Haipai curly hair.
② Tumbling H.P. Haipai Curling: Usually with longer hair length and loose curling effect, there are many styles to choose from.
E, Plush printing material: 1. Printing; 2. Jacquard; 3. Tip dyed printing and dyeing: (like opening books for mixed hair glasses); 4. Variegated; 5. Two tone, etc.
Attention: 1. Plush density and weight, whether the feel is smooth (i.e. whether the exposed yarn is tight or not, whether the fur surface is upright or fallen); 2. The quality of raw yarn and woven fabric affects the softness effect; 3. Staining accuracy; 5. Looking at the effect of a larger area of fur surface: whether the fur surface effect is dense, upright, smooth, and whether there are any abnormal indentations, wavy patterns, messy fur directions, etc. The above aspects can basically be used to judge the quality.
(3) Velour: similar to a shearing cloth, but with a hair length of about 1.5-2mm and relatively greater elasticity compared to shearing cloth; No hair.
(4) T/C fabric: (composed of 65% Polyster and 35% Cotton) divided into three types:
(1) 110 * 76: thicker, used for printed fabrics or products with higher requirements, with a higher density and less likely to loosen.
(2) 96 * 72: followed by; The density is relatively sparse.
(3) 88 * 64: Again. Due to the loose organization, it is usually required to order materials with a light slurry on the top and middle to avoid loose edges in the seams, which may cause bursting.
(2) (3) is usually used for making lining fabrics. When using, choose according to the grade and purpose of the product.
(5) Nylon, Tricot: It is divided into ordinary polyester fabric (100% Polyster) and nylon polyester fabric (Nylon), which are usually of the ordinary type. Production, cutting, silk screen printing, and embroidery are all relatively easy. In the case of cutting, silk screen printing, it is necessary to control the length of the bristles that cannot be too long (usually not exceeding 1mm), otherwise the silk screen printing will be difficult, the color will not easily penetrate, and it is easy to fade.
Nylon edge nylon fabric is rarely used and is only used when strong adhesion is required for special products
(6) Cotton fabric (100% Cotton): used for making high-end printed fabrics, thicker than T/C fabrics. (7) Felt fabric: Pay attention to thickness and softness. It is divided into two types: ordinary polyester and acrylic. Ordinary polyester is usually used, which is harder with a thickness of about 1.5mm, while acrylic is very soft with loose and easily rotten tissue. It is commonly used in gifts and rarely used in toys.
(8) PU leather: It is a type of polyester, not genuine leather. Note that the thickness of the fabric may vary depending on the base fabric.
Attention: All toys cannot use PVC material, as PVC contains excessive toxic and deadly elements. Therefore, it is important to note that the material should not be of PVC nature and should be taken very seriously.
(9) Heavier T/C: also divided into cotton or T/C, thicker, with clear and visible patterns.
(10) Zhe Shi Bu: Measuring texture by count; The selection should be based on the grade and purpose of the product.
(11) Knitted fabric: divided by weight, count, and weight, divided into cotton or T/C, with high elasticity of the fabric.
(12) Electronic velvet: thin and bright, but the surface is not soft enough.
(13) Polar fleece: divided into single-sided fleece and double-sided fleece, with a soft touch but high elasticity.
(14) Velvet: There are several grades, and the difference from electronic velvet is that it is softer and relatively more expensive.
(15) Flocking Material: It can be single-sided or double-sided. If the base fabric is different, the thickness, hardness, and price of single-sided flocking will also vary.
(16) Satin: It is usually difficult to sew and too soft can cause yarn to slip.
(17) Washed fabric, wrinkled fabric (Nylon Taffeta): The fabric surface has wrinkles, and some products may use it because it can be washed with water, but it is difficult to sew.
(18) Nylon fabric: Inner lining fabric: 170T, a type of nylon fabric that is very thin and inexpensive. It can be considered as an inner bag lining; Ordinary nylon fabric: 190T; Thick nylon fabric: 210T; Oxford cloth: above 420T.
(19) Towel cloth: Cotton: The loops are high and appear rough. When used on toys, a thick and dense base cloth should be used to prevent the cotton from running out easily.
T/C type: The looped material is delicate and smooth, and is commonly used in baby products, bath products, etc. Please note that the base fabric should be thick and not penetrate cotton.
(20) Other: denim, glitter fabric.
